I recently had a cervical fusion(4-5) and I am trying to recover from that. It is taking a long time. I was told I had degenerate disk disease in my neck. I have many if not all sypmtoms of Fibro, but I have not seen a Dr as of yet due to the tremendous pain I am having from the surgery alone. I feel a diagnois would not be accurate. I currently take prozac for a bit of depression and anxiety. Along with pain meds and flexril. I am hoping to recover from my sugery and try to continue on with life! Keeping my fingers crossed. I just know that I am tired of always feeling tired. Tired of always having headaches. Tired of being so overwhelmed. Tired of not sleeping. I am tired of all the constant pain in my neck and back. The buring pain is the worst!  No medicine seems to work for that pain. I am hoping that once I am recoverd from surgery most of this pain will just MAJICALLY DISAPEAR! Some how I am a bit doubtfull!
