About Atrovent (Prescription Drug)

Atrovent is a brand name for ipratropium, an anticholinergic. As an oral inhalant it is used to treat bronchospasm associated with COPD, bronchitis and emphysema; as a nasal spray, to treat runny nose associated with colds and allergies. Off label it is used as an adjunct for acute asthma in ER.
