I live in the forest and it's a form of Alternative Therapy for me...Being a Grammie feels so good. I adore all kids!..I love my plants. That's my hobby...FM has tried to take over my life. It's in every nook and cranny! Everything that I do is colored with FM and how much pain something is going to cause me. Life is horrible lived this way...I go to work and that helps keep me mobile...I would be all shriveled up by now if I didn't try to stay on top of the FM...My smile gets me out of bed in the morning and I follow...I hope you are able to find something to help you smile today, too!

I don't know when the fibro crept up on me. One day I was consumed with pain and it has never let up. I have felt terrible for years but there is no sense in whining about it as that does not do anyone any good. The people around you certainly don't want to listen to a broken record every day saying over and over, "I don't feel well."...It is extremely important that we get enough sleep at night. During sleep you enter a sleep called REM sleep and that is the best sleep. It is when the brain repairs itself and gets ready for another day. When you don't get the REM sleep then the mind and body are in for a terrible day. Then when you don't sleep well for a few weeks or a month then you are really in for a big crash...Don't let the fibro get you down. That just makes you feel worse. If you think about the fibro all of the time it will take over your life and run your life for you. That is not a good way to live.
