About Keeper of the Flame

I live in the forest and it's a form of Alternative Therapy for me...Being a Grammie feels so good. I adore all kids!..I love my plants. That's my hobby...FM has tried to take over my life. It's in every nook and cranny! Everything that I do is colored with FM and how much pain something is going to cause me. Life is horrible lived this way...I go to work and that helps keep me mobile...I would be alll shriveled up by now if I didn't try to stay on top of the FM...My smile gets me out of bed in the morning and I follow...I hope you are able to find something to help you smile today, too!

More About Keeper of the Flame

 I   This is me in my backyard.

    My dad was in the Air Force while I was growing up and so I need to have the woods around me to feel good.  The green out of doors always reminds me that the sparrow is looked after so I don't have anything to worry about.

  I have 3 children & 5 grandchildren.  They are my life.  I can't believe the feelings I have for the grandkids. They make it so I can stand whatever FM throws at me.

  I have loved growing things since I was a kid so I usually have about 200 houseplants at any given time and a large garden. I also love animals and I have always had a cat, dog, bird or all three. I love everything about nature and when I see the American Bald Eagle that lives out back, well, that is about the best it gets!

  I wonder how I am going to live the next 10-30 years with FM.  Since my diagnosis 2 years ago, things have become very difficult.  The most difficult aspect of FM for me is the extreme burning electrical type pain that the FM has given me.  It is extremely difficult to live with, but live with it, I must.

  I hope that anybody who reads this will take the time this week to do something nice for their fellow mankind.
