I've been very active physically, hiking, biking, swimming. I broke me neck and had a brain injury 5 years before I was diagnosed with PD. Since then my physical activity has been diminishing. I also have arthritis and sometimes have difficulty telling symptoms of arthritis from the PD. I still try to be as active as I can because I enjoy the outdoors a lot, and the exercise makes the pain stop for a while (the endorphines masking it, I suppose). I've often wondered if there is a relationship between the head injury and the PD since I've met so many people who have had both in close proximity
