I have had fibro for several years. I am still learning to cope, some days I just can't. There are still people who do not believe me but thats their problem not mine, let them think what they want. Although it would be nice to have their support... I think I have found a doctor that understands and wants to treat ALL of me not just periodic ailments, at least I hope so. I don't have many friends in the area, we moved here 3 yrs ago and I don't get out much. I do have online friends that are awsome. My family is suportive taking up a lot of chores that I would normally do. Thank you girls!

I have checked for all kinds of diseases and ailments and still the diagnosis is fibro. Ok, fine now to deal with it. I have put on my big girl panties and dealling. Some days are good most are crappy. I am ready to go way into the swamps of Louisianna to vind an old witch/voodoo doctor for relief lol. Cold weather and of course over doing it are my main causes for pain. I take Lyrica and it helps alot. I also take Effexor which helps keep me calm and clear headed. I have heard all kinds of "cures", some make sense, most don't. I am trying to change my diet, I have gained WAY too much weight! I would like to compare pain, meds, and other stuff that has helped everyone else. And make some new friends in the process.
