I was born in Korea, and immigrated to the U.S. at age 15. I attended college and medical school on the east coast, and have been working as an orthopedic surgeon for 15 years. I am now on leave of absence from work due to the difficulty with my speech. I am going through a divorce, have two sons, 13 and 10, and the younger boy has autism. I might be compared to Job in the bible, but I feel very blessed to have so many people around me who truly care, and am starting to see the 'blessings' of this disease.
