About Tsalta

June 2010 - About a year and a half into this journey and I have to say - I'm doing GREAT! I have learned to just deal with the "weirdness" of my symptoms and go on. I will not let MS have any more control over my life than it does. I have learned that I can give myself a shot and then just move on. No more fear. The most important thing I have learned is that you really do have to live in the moment. For years I just said it - Now I really do live it. In many ways I consider this a blessing.

More About Tsalta

March 26, 2009
I have come to terms with my dx and have decided to take this on with all the fight I have but also stop to appreciate the new people I meet on this journey.  I have also found that having MS has taught me to stop and really enjoy my family and friends because there is no guarantees of tomorrow, I believe that any illness can and will do this.  To those I have met here - Thanks fo all your info and support, to those I will meet - I hope to help you with any advice and support I can give.

January 2009   -   I have just been diagnosed this past week with 95% sure its MS.  I assume only GOD can hand out a 100% diagnosis so I'll go with docs.  After the initial shock I have gone into the Attack mode (Attack on MS that is).  I have three kids preteen and teen and have decided that I will let them know about the MS after I have research and decided what I'm going to do.  I have a wonderful husband that I know will stand by me and help as he can (he proved this when I had a breast cancer scare last year.  As far as who I am, well I guess you would say I am a very busy person who is always on the go.  We own our business for which I do the bookkeeping and I also work part time in the financial field as an Operations Mgr.  I take care of a small horse farm and teach riding lessons in the warmer weather.  Along with my family we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a hamster and a chinchilla.  I also have a step-daughter who has blessed me with two grandkids. I love to be outdoors and never seem to sit down.  I think my first reaction to the dx of MS was - I don't have time for this!!!!!!!

I have been lurking around here for awhile now and can honestly say that the real info and support and love shown to and for all is amazing and I am glad I found you all.
