- I take this for nausea. I have to take the bus often & I get incredibly motion-sick every time. My dr. said I could take it 1/2 hour before I planned on riding the bus to help prevent the the severe nausea - for the most part, it seems to work about 95% of the time. However, it does seem to give me a mild headache, so it's a sort of trade-off. So, sometimes I don't take it, for that reason (I get headaches a lot, if I already have one, I don't want to make it worse!).
