About MiaBella

I am 39 year old Massage, Sports, Physical Therapist. I am married with 2 lovely daughters with my oldest daughter being Bipolar as well. I have had Bipolar all of my life but was actually diagnosed until I was around 14. My husband and daughters are very supportive and understanding of this illness. But, I know it is hell living with me. I have no idea who I am. I am just here and barely able to function...each day is a struggle to move. I am medicated and this is the best I ever felt. I feel like crap. I am not suicidal but do have tendencies to cut. Hope to hear from others.

MOre about me:

1.  I was dx'd with BP at the age of 13

2.  My oldest daughter is 21 and was dx'd with BP at 16 and had a horrible of deep cutting.  She is better now and is in college.

3.  My youngest daughter was recently dx'd with mild depression, Mood Disorder, and OCD.  She is 15 and has her ups and downs.

4.  I was an attorney but I had a mental breakdown that was bad about 5 years ago.  My p-doc suggested this career was too stressfull for me.  He was right.

5.  I went back to school and began a new career in Massage, Sports, and Physical Therapy.  I love it.  I owned my own business for a while but I closed it to advance my career.

6.  I am now in Chiropractic School.

7.  Somedays, I want to give up and quit but it is a chore to push myself.  But, I do it!!

8.  I just began a new challenge. One of my professors at school hooked me up with motivational speaking seminars...I am excited to be doing this plus the pay is good.  In addition to motivational speaking, I will also be speaking on Domestic Violence and living with a mental Illness to groups who have an interest in that.
