More About Mal Pearce
Malcolm Pearce aged 63 years, diagnosed August 2004, but it is quite obvious that I have had it for some years. Was originally being treated for severe arthritis, suffered a lot of pain until suitable medication found and tolerated. Gabapentin 900 mg per day has helped tremendously. Fortunately have more good days than bad, and still manage a couple of beers when it takes my fancy. Strangely enough all the medication I take is supposed to make me tired, yet I manage my day pretty well. Like everyone else will try anything that helps, just hope something comes up that we can all have easy access to.Unfortunatly, I feel, probably like everyone else, that I am frequently clutching at straws, but if amongst all of us we can come up with something that gives us more time, it will be better than nothing at all?
