I love to paint, draw, take photos, scrapbook and hunt. Although, since PD I have found that I struggle with the drawing since I work primarily with pen and ink and the tremors work against the fine lines that are required. This is one of my earlier works:
I have also had to give up bow hunting as I am unable to pull the bow back now, even with an assist device I am too shaky to hold on the target. I mainly stick to turkey hunting with a shotgun now, and I am not too sure how much longer I will be able to keep that up either. At least I am able to get out and enjoy nature still and I do treasure those times.
My life is full and my days are busy, with keeping up with a 6-year-old. I also have a 9-year-old granddaughter.
Although I battle with the symptoms of PD, my loving Savior gives me the strength to tackle each challege that is before me and I give Him praise and honor. My greatest desire is to make Him known and to glorify His name.
