About redhead56

I was dx with MS in 1994, did a round of IV Solmedrol within the first several months, the following year I had a heart attack with a bypass, the cardic surgeons believe that the steroids were the cause. I tried Betseron first, then Avonex, which didn't seem to help, then went to Copaxone which is working well. I moved back to Illinois from the east cost to be near my family. I am currently living in a supportive living facility which is great, and I am currently on SS Disability and no longer drive, I am also getting IV Solumedrol monthly, because I keep falling, I use a walker or scooter.

More About redhead56

I have fallen twice in the last 2 years, breaking my entire lumbar spine, had a great surgeon and it is fixed and I am walking, then fell again, and broke my leg right below my hip, had a metal rod put in.  I also have another auto-immune disease, Addison's disease and congestive heart failure.  I have a twin sister who is perfectly healthy, and an older brother who is fine also.
