Now that I know I have PD I know I was having symptoms in '99. Walking felt more like staggering, my right arm didn't swing, my (pretty) penmanship became nearly illegible even to me, I'd look in the mirror & say "when did that happen" & I rarely wore make up because of my tremors. I got an Early PD symptoms page on the internet & hi-lited mine. It was covered! Then I moved & in '03 a friend visited & noticed how much worse I was & insisted I see a neurologist. I'm on several meds & doing ok. I try not to ask "why me?". Why not me? I know it will get worse but for now I feel blessed that I'm able to do almost anything. Unless I'm tired or stressed.
