More About jermo
I am a country boy. I grew up in the Oregon, far from towns and schools. I came from a poor family who had enough to eat, but little in the way of luxuries. I earned at a early age how to take care of myself. What I did not learn about survival as a farm boy, the Marines later taught me.
When I was married and raising my family we continued to live on a small farm. We always raised a garden, and chickens, goats, and an assortment of animals. The country life continued to be my life, even though I worked as an accountant in the city.
I now live in a small town, away from people, traffic and the politics of crowded cities.
Today I love to be in the mountains. I like fishing, hiking, or just exploring areas I have not been. In my younger life I climbed all the mountains in the northwest, and was a runner.
Today my condition prevents me from doing many of the things I formerly did. However, I still mange to get outdoors, and enjoy life.
