About yolanda

Going through the stages of chronic pancreatitis, non-alcoholic, IBS, and constipation due to pain meds, usually have morning noisy stomach. Trying to find some herbal aid for constipation, since different laxatives only work for a short period, then I try switching to another brand, same results. I have read about Ducolax, anybody has tried it? Please let me know how it worked for you. I am getting Colace today and see what happens, I will update my story as soon as something changes. Hoping to hear from people that tried something that helped them! Thank you all. Gilbert and Yolanda.

More About yolanda

Update, I've been on 30 mg. morphine for the last month and a half, helps somewhat and I take a percocet if the pain lasts longer than usual. I've developed osteoporosis for which I take lots of vitamen C and D, it seems to help too, I know that the Cat scans damage you more than the MRI. As of some info I've got from an old friend that is in the Medical field. Also we developed a vegetable juice with kalp, turnips, mushrooms, carrots, and other veggies, boil them and grind them, add a few fruits and it has helped for a while. No red meat, grease, and avoiding sugars also helps. The constipation is still an issue though, I use the Greek yogurt with probiotics to help. That's our 2 cents for today! have a good one and be patient as the strength builds up in your body, as for me, sometimes I feel like giving up but I know that God has a plan for each of us. I try and keep hope alive. I am grateful to our Creator for giving us hope, that has been the driving force, also Faith in whatever you believe in, something bigger than ourselves to borrow the phrase from the AA. groups. I'm posting this in hopes that it would help someone or at least let them know that there's always hope. I don't know how long this will last, but I hope it gets to be bearable and keep moving on, God willing. Good luck to you all.Smile Yolanda and Gilbert.
