I was first diagnosed in 1996 after my son was born. I was very upset and did a lot of crying. I was going to college to be a nuerologist and found life to be very ironic. I was angry and it took me a long time to get past that. I stopped going to school and decided to enjoy life while I could. I now have 2 children and a lot of numbness in my left side. I don't have a lot of friends and I wish I had more but getting out to socialize is starting to be a problem. I hope this site will help me find friends who understand and are going through the same thing that I am. My fiance' doesn't seem to get it and after 15 years of knowing each other you would think he would. I'm still young and want to act young not like an old lady.
