My MS started when I went blind in one eye, so I went to my family doctor. She sent me to get an MRI done and then sent me to an eye specialist. He told me that I might have MS, but I needed a specialist to confirm it. I then went to a specialist and he wouldn't touch me because I didn't have any insurance at the time, so I waited. Finally we had a flood and because of the flood, I got intoduced to an insurance called HIP. I think it was fate. And when I was able to I got into a doctor that finally diagnosed me not too long ago. I haven't started treatment yet, but I think Rebif would be best.

I'm 22 and live in Indiana. I live w/ my parents and have a boyfriend who has said that he will help me through this when I need it. I want to have children someday, but having MS has made me think about alot of things. I'm happy that I have loving people in my life to help me through this. I'm very greatful for all of those people.
