An Illinois-to-Florida-to-NC transplant chasing two Yorkies, trying to keep up with papers that seem to reproduce in my office. Like others coping with life changing health concerns, my days circle around what I have on my "to do" list and what gets left behind. lol The computer and the internet have combined to become a connection of more information, new friends, old friends, and new medical research. In 1989 a Mack totaled my car. It took a year and a half to determine that I needed bi-lateral TMJ surgery, then Cervical Fusion C5-6. Extreme pain, numbness, headaches,increasing limitations over time even exercising demanded further MRIs, which showed further fusions needed Cervical 3-4, & 4-5, Thoracic 7-8, and a Bi-Lateral Laminectomy L-4-5. in 1993-1994. In 2005 with Disc Degeneration I had another Fusion-Lumbar L2-S1. Neat surgery - got the 2 inches in height back that I had lost. Bummer, now I've lost one again. lol It's! a good thing I have my grandson's close by...just another gift from God
