- Advice & Tips
- I participated in a clinical drug trial at the ALS clinic at UCSF. The purpose of the study was to help with uncontrollable laughter and crying. Of the 3 blind trial dosages available (Full strength, half strength, and placebo), I conjectured that I received the half strength pill. With the trial over now, I have chosen to continue with the study on an open label basis, which guarantees that I receive the full strength dose. My laughing/crying symptoms have markedly decreased in the second phase (with the real drug).
