About Sagen
In little time I have progressed. I would say in the last 8-10 years I've become less able and more disabled on my right side. I developed foot drop on the right and my right hand's gotten weaker rather quicky. It has been hard to walk and my balance is worse. I'm on so many medictions for so many conditions, and started on Ampyra to help with walking about a month and a half ago. It seems to be helping some. However, it would probably be more effective if I could increase muscle tone more. I am not able to be on my feet long, so that limits that. I need a stationary bike.
I have not been on here for some time and am way behind. I am having trouble keeping up because I am in a lot of low back and leg pain. I cannot stay in one position long with out hurting really bad. Crying more now because of the intensity of pain. I will be having low back surgery Nov. 1, 2012.
I went off my Copaxone because of terrible reactions and it's frequency. The reaction is similar to having a heart attack. When I first started the Copaxone I was having a reaction maybe once a year, then it was 6months. When it became every few weeks I had, had enough and the last one was the longest. I am on no MS meds at this time and like it. My Lord will provide and bring about my healing in His due time.
On Dec.21.1012 I had Low back surgery on L4-5 fused, S1 repaired sacral fracture and damage to area, rebuild bone with cadaver bone. It seems to have help though I am still recovering. I also found out I am diabetic. We are trying diet and medication to get my glucose levels down.
