in september 2007 i was diagnosed with lou gehrigs disease- ALS. i can no longer move my legs nor my left arm. the ability to move my right are is starting to fade as well as my speech and breathing.
despite my fate i decided to follow my dreams and accomplish my goals.
in my wheelchair i tried out for german idol -dsds. because of my disability i did not make it pass the judges. i did however get to record a cd thus fullfilling one of my lifetime dreams.
this was important to me because i kno there will come a time when i will no longer be able to use my voice and i wanted to create a lasing keepsake for my children.
i want to show my children that i am stil a fighter and i will never give up.
i want to accomplish as much as i can for as long as i can.

i am not looking for sympathy, rather i am looking for friends and hoping to inspire people with and without handicaps.
by me persuing my music career i hope to gain attention for this disease and raise awareness and money for ALS research. a portion of the proceeds from my cd sales goes towards ALS research in the charité klinikum in berlin germany where i am in treatment.
