More About AmunRa65
Over the years of living with HIV I have had my ups and downs. At first I didn't do anything about it, I didn't start taking meds until 12 years after my diagnosis. I contracted this disease from my first partner in or around 1990 a victim of infidelity. He passed in 1993. My second partner I was with for six month before I found out I was positive and I will live with the fact that I gave this disease to him for the rest of my, we have lost contact with each other so I don't know what his status is. I am have been with my current partner now for 11 years. He was negitive when we met and is still negitive today. My status was the first thing we talked about when our relationship started to take off. I was very suprised but pleased when he wasn't frightened away. He has been my anchor, especially two years ago when I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, without him I would have not survived. I am currently still cancer free and I am doing well with my HIV treatment. I have been on the cocktail now for just over three years, excluding the 5 month during my chemo. I am pleased to say that I am living a pretty good live now and the future look bright for my partner and I. We live in Las Vegas with his sick mother, who we take care of and our 3 dogs. Some day we want to move to Idaho and settle down where it is quiet, city live doesn't appeal to us anymore.
I wish everyone on this site good health and best wishes for you future.
