Hello.... I have been living with my sidekick, Parky for going on twelve years. He isn't the best friend I have ever had, but he seems to really like me, I can hardly get a minute to myself. However, we have had some discussions and Parky does know his place and most of the time he stays there. I love adventure and taking risks...it is important to test ourselves every day, this is how you know you are alive. My motto to live by is "If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up to much space." Challenge life and go out and find your edge, it is there, you just have to look for it.

I am a very positive person.  I tend to welcome adversity and challenges, as I get great satisfaction out of solving problems.  That is one of the greatest rewards I get when rock climbing, encountering an obstacle on the wall and figuring out how to work past it.  Sea Kayaking offers similar opportunities.  Parky has a way of providing me with opportunities to overcome obstacles through problem solving.  Parky was not invited, he just showed up at the party and has never left.  If you are sensing a pattern here, you are right.  I rarely see the negative...my choice, I choose to see the positive.  My glass is always half full, not half empty.  What life has taught me is that positive thinking is the only thing that works in this life.  I have a strong belief that attitude is everything and without a positive attitude, you will become your own worst enemy.
