I have enjoyed careers as a proofreader when I could no longer stand well, a scenic artist for the entertainment industry in New York City, and years earlier, a commercial oilfield diver in the Gulf of Mexico. I am fortunate to have the incredible support from my dear wife, who I wish did not have to work so hard on my behalf, family and friends, and the local chapter of the ALS Association. I maintain a low fat, raw vegan diet consisting of whole fresh seasonal fruit and fresh, tender vegetables. These foods are easy to digest, and do not create congestion. This has become very valuable now since respiratory is affected. I feel it has been a great benefit to me. I am presently taking no supplements or medications.
