About Hushpuppy

I started therapy in April 2008 to deal with what I now know as PTSD, complex PTSD, generalized anxiety, and severe recurring depression. I see my individual therapist once a week. I have a very supportive partner I married on October 25, 2008. On September 24, 2010 I was diagnosed with diabetes. On October 10, 2011 I was also diagnosed with narcolepsy.

More About Hushpuppy

In non MI news, I work in the financial industry and play with numbers all day, and I go to graduate school part time at night. On my better days I spend after-work hours cooking, blogging, reading, quilting, sewing, writing, watching football and baseball, and exploring my city. On my less than stellar days I spend my after-work hours curled up in a blanket on the couch, or hiding in bed.  I have three cats who are an endless source of entertainment and/or frustration, depending on what they have decided to break that particular day.
