Mine started with foot drop and after thorough investigations it took just 8 months for a diagnosis. I seem to be treading an average path, if there is such a thing. I continue to progress and now have a PEG and use a wheelchair and over head hoist. I am lucky to have 24/7 carer living with me at home.
