I am a retired CPA married to a retiring French teacher. After 32 years she has decided to hang up the "chapeau." Our main hobby was bicycle touring on a tandem bicycle. Balance and strength issues have all but ended that part of our lives. In place of telling about adventures on the road, we now just listen. Although our cycling friends have been very supportive socially, I miss riding the open road. Spinning has replaced cycling for exercise. It provides a great workout but it is not the same.
