I am a 42 year old father of three and grandfather of three. I was married early at 19 back in 1988, believe it or not me and my wife have overcome the odds and are still married. Now we are battling more odds, me and Parkinson's Disease and trying to live a normal life. Things can be rough but I have discovered that through friends and family you can manage anything. So please feel free to contact me for anything from conversation to questions. I am as honest as I can be with my life and look to others as well for help. We live with this nightmare so why not help eachother is my attitude.

My name is Michael Sweet, I was first Diagnosed with PD back in 2001 and began fulltime treatment in 2005. My Brother Jim also is a PD Patient and has been since 1997, I am currently 42 years old and Jim is 49. I keep busy now that I am on fulltime disability by looking for advocacy work within the Parkinson's community and mainly in the area of Young Onset Parkinson's.
