I have been a person who has been overcoming obstacles all of my life first with a speech problem at eight years old and later in my teens with learning disabilities. So Today's challenge of dealing with BP has been dealt with great power and might. It has been a long ten years since I was first diagnosed. I have tired a lot of meds and been with a lot of Doctors until I finally have the right cocktail of meds and the right care provider. Today I go to a Nurse Practitioner who is awesome he is into the Wellness Model of treatment. And believes that less is better as far as meds go. Today I am finally on a cocktail of meds that work. I have not been depressed or manic in about one year and four months. My only problem is that I sleep too much when I do not have scheduled activities. But I am going back to school to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor. I hope to work with dual addicted clients in a treatment setting.

    I am a Director and an actor I run a Professional theatre that employs actors with disabilities. I wrote a play about mental illness called THE BRAIN. I love the outdoors, I like to camp and hike
