No seizures in the past 24 hours. Yay. I was able to enjoy my kids without that shakey, dazed, distant and tired feeling. I know I have to work on sleeping. But any time I feel normal I try not to take advantage of it. I hope I can have an easy breezy seizure free mamorial day.

I woke up Felling really good this morning. Its been a hard week and I finally felt normal and then yet another seizure. I have been going through this for a long time but now that I know that these are seizures I'm trying to figure out what's my triggers and auras. My neurologist doesn't seem to be educating me on much of anything. She just said my EEG showed some spikes and i'm having complex partial seizures. She prescribed Carbamazepine but the side affects left me feeling as if I just had a seizure and I was unable to care for my kids. My children are wonderful and they need me to be a mother and not a vegetable so I stopped taking the medicine. don't know what to do now. But I will continue to pray and stay positive that I will get this under control. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.
