I was diagnosed with MS in Feb. 07, I had symptoms long before, I blew off all the nerve pain, numbness, all the MS related issues. Until I noticed I couldn't see much at all with my R eye. The eye Dr. wanted me to see a specialist ASAP - being a nurse, I thought I could "fix" the issue with over the counter eye drops. haha.. One thing lead to another with the MRI indicating MS. I started with Avonex, recently switched to Copaxone and LDN - feel much better without the flu symptoms. I've been married for 12 years to a wonderful supportive partner. We both work in healthcare.

My husband is my rock, definitely my soft place to fall at the end of a long difficult day. 

But even with all his support, I really don't think anyone understands the "issues" a person with MS has to deal with on a daily basis.  This is a good place to hear about others with similar issues going on - I'm glad I found this site.
