I was diagnosed with RR in September of 1998. I started treatment March of 1999 with Avonex and have been on it ever since. I am one of the lucky patients, my brain lesions have shrunk a small amount. Most people think we are joking when we tell them I have MS because outwardly you can't tell unless I am using my cane. I am physically disabled because of a bad back. My lower back is shot and I am in constant pain from moderate disk degeneration. I am married, no children and have 3 cats.
