Up all night with pain when I started reading message boards regarding withdrawal symptoms from Hydrocodone... it seems like all my pain is a result of the pain killer. I was taking it as prescribed when I had pain (2 a day and never more) but I have severely messed myself up. I'm in so much pain and so incredibly moody I wish at this time I lived alone so I wouldn't have to see or hear from anyone until this is over. I hate all doctors.

I had unusually high blood pressure for a girl of my weight and size, was having headaches everyday, going pain, and I had a lesion on mu nose that would never go away. My PCP ran the test and concluded I had SLE. Since starting the drugs, my symptoms all got worse.

Sinus surgery went well, the pain killers took their toll on me though and I tried to take them as little as possible. Just sick again, with the same pain I had months ago I thought I was through experiencing. Mental state poor, so that doesn't help either. Trying to watch comedy on TV but it all bores me.

I have started doing meditation, and exercise optimally 5x per week, alternating hiking on the treadmill with light weights for strength building. Sure, I still have the joint pains at times, but my mental mood has really lifted. I'm trying to live a more fulfilling life and not let these ailments absorb me anymore, as they have for much of my 20's. I have also changed nutritional habits, cutting out excess sugar, caffeine, and I've started eating mostly gluten-free. I try to eat more frequent, smaller meals rather than eating only when time allowed and thereby binging.

Surprised to hear from my endocrinologist today that my hypothyroid levels have dramatically changed and I have to increase my drugs (75 m-f and 88 on s,s)... surprised because I have been feeling well (no depression or anxiety thanks to Clonozapam) but maybe that is just masking the ailments. I've been taking something for my thyroid for years now and never have experienced such a change without symptoms.

- Positive benefit included being able to function seemingly well on Tramadol. I could drive to school, sit attentively through classes, and felt a burst of energy after the pain subsided. I am now relying only on Vicodin for pain, but I am not sure how long that will last.
