- Tramadol (Ultram) is a very good treatment for all-over pain, such as that associated with Fibromyalgia. I stopped taking it simply because I no longer have health insurance, and could not afford to see my doctor. Just a warning - Tramadol does affect serotonin levels in the brain, so if you are taking anything such as an anti-depressant, please be careful!
