Advice & Tips
Drink plenty of water before your infusion so your veins will be easier to access. Take someone with you or take reading material to make the time go faster at the hospital. Eat mints for the bad metallic taste you will get in your mouth. And then get plenty of rest at home. Don't plan any activities. I was on a 5-day course and by the 3rd ir 4th day you are completely wiped out. Then be sure that you have ordered a taper pack of Prednisone from your doctor for after your infusions are over to get you through withdrawals. That next week will be bad also....kind of like a drug addict coming down off drugs. Take care of yourself...have someone bring meals to you if you can. ASK FOR HELP!!
