- Everyone is different, but I personally don't find Cipralex to be effective. It primarily just increases my side-effects. It is possible that it is keeping my obsessions at bay, however. While not the most difficult SSRI to get off of, doing so can be very uncomfortable (shakes, sweats) and it might be too much trouble for some.
