I have been diagnosed with bipolar I disorder since around 2001. Before then I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and anxiety. I can think back and my bipolar disorder probably showed up at the time I was twelve. I also have other medical conditions.

I have been IP 9 times over the last 7 years with most hospitalizations occurring in 2002. I also have been in the PhP (partial hospital) program twice.  My most recent hospitalization was this last January and prior to that last November. I have a hard time sticking to talk therapy.  I also see a psychiatrist for my care. I have asthma, migraines, ankylosing spondylitis, bipolar I, anxiety, GERD and hypertension. I have a kidney condition as well.
Change causes a lot of problems for me as I need consistency in my life.
