About Retired2CISC

I was diagnosed with ALS in July of 2006 at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in Augusta. I attend an ALS clinic once every three months at MCG. Dr. Michael Rivner is the attending physician at this clinic. I am seen by several therapists such as Physical, Occupational, Speech & Language, Respiratory Therapist, Dietitian, etc. There is also an ALS support group meeting during these clinics. (June 13, 2009) Currently I have very limited use of my arms and legs although my voice and breathing are still going strong. I even sing on Sunday evenings at my local Episcopal parish.
