- Do not drink coffee when you're on this medication. It will cause severe anxiety if even one little thing that's negative happens to you, especially if you are also neurotic. It seems to help my mood when I'm on it, but coming down from these stimulants can sometimes be depressing and lead to anxiety. It took me a little while to find good times to take the medication so it would last all day and not be too much or too little. If you take too much in one day, it will cause you to become anxious. I also found that it made me quite a perfectionist, so some projects are taking longer than they used to.
