- My side effects started immediately with the 10 mg/day dose, but had mostly subsided by the time I upped my dose to 20 mg / day. So, the side effects seemed to be transient. In contrast, the benefits have been growing on a much longer time scale, probably taking several weeks to notice a benefit for depression and GAD.
