More About jazzfan

I grew up in the 1950's-60's NJ farmland country and was heavily exposed to the pesticide Chlordane from approximately age 7 - 12.  Back then it was the "miracle of modern science" - who knew?  (well, it turns out the Government knew all along, but that's another story) Also drank well water growing up.  Family history is Alzheimer's Disease - both mother and father. Prior to my diagnosis I had travelled extensively throughout Asia for fun and adventure and I'm still trying to figure out if I can ever get back to doing that.   Interests include reading, writing, NYC, museums, researching studies on the brain, anything Asian, foreign films, NY Times newspaper, contemporary culture.
