I am married with 2 college-age stepchildren. I have been a probation officer for 18 years. I noticed March 2006 that I could not grasp the sheet with my right hand. That began the round of doctors in May when I couldn't open a clothespin. Enough was enough! I have recently retired on disability. My husband and children have been wonderfully supportive as have my church and coworkers. The daily struggle to simply do (or get done!) things that a year ago I never thought twice about is such a struggle!
