I first had a seizure when I was 5, this was around 1983, I continued to have them until 16 when it seemed like the pass-out seizures stopped I thought I out grew them, but I would still pass out and just lay there according to my family. Between 1994 and 2003 I had a pause in the pass out seizures. from 2003 to today I tended to have 1 episode I can recall a year, but on April 7th I had two that day 5 minutes apart from the other. from 1983 I been fighting to get a doctor to diagnose me though I would seize up into convolutions and what not right in front of doctors they never officially did.

If you have a child and a doctor claims it will cost more money to restart the test to catch the seizure after the test is done and the child goes into a seizure right there go to the hospital chef of staff and report it if they just argue until the seizure ends. The hyperventilation test during EEG's are supposed to be done for an hour minimum tops. If they stop it before then just to get more patients through to make more money report it. That is what happened to me and my parents never thought they could report it at the time. With me I fought for the last 27 years trying to get diagnosed and because of that I no longer qualify for Social security disability because I have not worked after a law judge denied me and I was not able to file an appeal until it was too late to file one. And because I had no solid diagnosis they claimed "We see you never been diagnosed so you where not disabled before the age of 22." And denying me based on the fact I finished and did almost finish 8th grade even when I was placed in special education classes and that I worked at all in my life. Because they keep telling me "Because of your education, work history, and age we think you can still work" in one line then another "We see though your limitation prevent you from returning to past work we still think you can do lighter less demanding work." yeah I can do anything my mind will let me. But oh I tell people even those hiring for toll booth ticket people my medical history and they don't even want to hire me because I am too much a health risk. Yet the US government says "Oh we think your just too lazy, your too young to have anything seriously wrong with you anyway." this is basically what they tell me. Do not let them win this is another tip for all you out there. if you got something that prevents you from working and they go do this sue their behinds off! By the way 4/20/2011 I have finally been diagnosed with epilepsy after 27 years. It helps to take witnesses no matter your age to the tell the doctor what goes on what they see can determine if you get diagnosed or not.

P.s. basically I have a problem swallowing pills, every time I try my throat clamps off trying to keep it from going down. even happens if I try jello, pudding, or apple sauce to coat the pill or just as a snack, Ever since I was 13 had gotten strep throat and had a seizure this has happened.
