More About sandyjc
I am a mother of two beautiful children (8 yrs. old son and a 4 yr. old daughter) who make me know how lucky I am to be their mother. I also have a supportive husband who supports me even through tough times.
I am currently on long-term disability from my occupation as a Special Education Technology Specialist in Fairfax County Public Schools. My husband has been my backbone and shoulder to lean on during my toughest moments. Our strong bond and openness about my disease has been so uplifting and positive. I have also taken up the hobby of digital photography of nature (flowers, butterflies, and landscapes). My philosophy behind taking picking of nature's beauties is because every day is a new day in their growth and each one is unique and has their own special qualities. People with Parkinson tend follow those characteristics. Life has thrown us curve ball, but in the end we are so strong to hit home runs!
