Hello Reader, I am a white male, 26 years old, of Scandinavian decent. I am a Welding/Metallurgy Technologist. I take a phenomenal amount of pride in my work and career, you could even say I love it. I live every day of my life with chronic bilateral leg pain, chronic irritable bowel syndrome, chronic insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, daily fatigue and chronic back pain/spasms. I am devoted and determined to find out what is causing my pain, bowel problems, sleep issues and chronic fatigue. If I can help just one person feel just a little better then I suppose I have made there world better.

My pain is complex, serious and everlasting. I can divide my pain to various categories, and I feel there are all but one inter connected.

I have chronic bilateral leg pain. It consists of a horrible lasting rhythmic pain which is always with me, no matter how good or how bad my day is, using somewhat masking its truly evil pain effects and hiding behind the blocking power of my drug cocktail. It manifests itself in various ways, but is almost always a intense aching draining dull fatigued pain, with a rhythmic sensation. This condition is with me from the crack of dawn to bed time. It worsens throughout the day becoming so intense I have a hard time standing still in one spot, as my feet feel as if they are going to crumble under the fatigue of the musical flow of the pain. I find this pain very draining and intense, it wears me down as if I was a triathlon participant. This pain becomes so severe my senses become completely engulfed with fighting its effects. Concentration becomes difficult and daily activities feel like slave labor. This is my bilateral leg pain, this is what I am.

I have chronic irritable bowel syndrome. I have said for years that my bowel pain, which is mostly spasmic with uncontrollably burning bowel movements is completely related to my bilateral leg pain. When I am having a bad day with my bowels, I will have a bad day with my legs and vice versa. My bowel spasms can drop me to my knees with blinding pain at which point I need a empty my bowels immediately or risk having another, more intense spasm. The worse of it being the actual bowel movement. I have not had a solid stool in close to 10 years. 

My back pain/spasms is unrelated to my chronic bilateral leg pain and IBS. My back pain is caused from a double s scoliosis curvature. The actual Cobb angle can be debated as each person can interpret the angle differently. I have moderate to severe back spasms on my right hand side of my back mid point, just below the shoulder. The spasms can come and go often with a work day, mostly from mid height work, i.e waist height hand work or slight bending over. When a spasm starts it is nearly impossible to stop it. I wait it out until a muscle relaxant can take over. I rarely, but do get neck spasms which last for 24-36 hours, which cause a complete pain paralysis of the neck. When this happens I have next to no neck movement and my entire upper body will lean to my right hand side trying to favor the side with least pain. I can deal with, and live with this pain, though it is tiring, it is not nearly as intense and draining as my leg/bowel pain.
