About JRWARIZONA

I grew up on a farm/ranch in Oklahoma, served in the U.S. Army in the early 1980'S and then moved to Arizona in 1985 to go to college and then decided to go to a tech school for land surveying and I have worked in the field of land surveying in the private sector from 1986-1990 and with a county goverment in the northern part of Arizona from 1990 to present, but I have to work in the office drafting map most of time since 2005, because of the PD related problems I have and it's effect on my abilty to work in the field (i.e. balance issues, slowness of movement and etc). I have a 22 year old son (pictured with me) and he was in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper, but now he is infantryman in the Arizona National Guard (it very nice to have him back home).

More About JRWARIZONA

At this time of filling in the "about me" part of the my biography i am almost 8 year since my diagnosis date and I feel that I am a person with PD, but PD does not have me and it just a slower lifestyle (of course frustrating at time), I still do about everything I did before but at a lot slower pace and in some way it has allowed me to stop and smell the roses along the way in this journey of life. Also I feel I have learned some lessons along the way that I would of never have learned otherwise, so I guess I am one of those people that learn the hard way, since it took PD for the Lord to get my attention and become a little more focused on what is important in life.
