About Rebelor

I haven't updated my profile in a while and need to change that. I am 56 and was diagnosed with a partial complex seizure disorder with secondary generalization. I was medically retired from the Air Force due to epilepsy. I have a great husband 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I love horses and ride mine when I can physically. I additionally, am a family nurse practitioner and am medically aware of my medical conditions. I research everything and challenge my providers to explain in detail. I am truly more than this. I have grown with the medical changes and understand isolation.

More About Rebelor

My last significant seizure was 14 April 2012. I am on three medications to control these seizure. Additionally, I was diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer in March of 2011. So, my medical conditions have dominated my life in the past 4 years but I hope that I am moving on to enjoying my horses, family, and retirement. "Never quit" has been my mantra and continues to keep me fighting. I am here now and it is what it is. I still have so many side effects from the plethora of medications I take. I wish I could be different, but I am not. This is my life. I have a prayer that I tell myself everyday.
May I accept this life as my path, learning from whatever is offered.
May I see the face of God in everyone and everything.
May I be aware of my physical place, time and the world around me.
May I help to relieve the the suffering of others.
May I appreciate this precious life.
