I was born and raised near Mobile Bay. My passion as a young person was dance and especially Ballet. After college and graduate school, I became a researcher working in environmental chemistry for over 25 years. I retired in 1995 and have been busy since with my gardening, caring for a grand child, and community activities. At my retirement I took up a Yoga practice which I continue (with some modifications) to this day.
