Quite work (retired) 9/99 Got a scooter 10/99 moved to condo (no steps) 12/99 Power Wheelchair 1/05 I use both scooter and power chair, and can transfer by myself. Legs are very weak. Arms and hands work, but not very strong.Watch what I eat , drink liquids with food to get it all down. On 1/4/2011 started using Smart Vest to help keep lungs clear. In the past eight months I have been hospitalized twice for pneumonia. Pneumonia again mid April 2011, this took me down hard. Under Hospice care at home now.
